Bermuda's annual celebration of Cup Match is a showcase of our vibrant culture, centering around a two-day cricket match between the rival clubs of St. George's (East) and Somerset (West). This year, the four-day holiday weekend starts on Thursday, August 3rd with Emancipation Day, which celebrates the abolition of slavery in Bermuda, and on Friday, August 4th we recognise Mary Prince Day, which celebrates Mary Prince, an  Abolitionist and  National Hero.
